Launch of the new IPA5 project in Montenegro
The International cooperation sector staff attended a one-day meeting in Podgorica to discuss the new project with the Assistant Health Minister and the Montenegrin national correspondent. The Assistant Minister of Health recalled Montenegro’s commitment to participate in the new project. Meetings with the Ministry of the Interior, the Public Institute of Public Health and other international organisations were also organised. The meetings contributed to the identification of the priorities for Montenegro, including an evaluation of the country’s Drug Strategy, the improvement of its data collection system, the development of an EWS at national level, training sessions, the implementation of surveys and coordination mechanisms, among other activities.
